2025 Chevy Equinox EV Pricing Review

Go City Chevy’s electric Equinox 2025 market has a lot going for it. Its attractive exterior looks more like a traditional SUV than an electric car, and its interior feels contemporary with good use of materials. The infotainment system is impressive, and if you opt for the top-level model you’ll get a nice suite of driver assistance features. It’s unfortunate, however, that the Equinox EV is hobbled by a lack of smartphone mirroring support. That keeps it from achieving a higher TCC score, but it’s still a solid option for drivers on a budget.

The base front-wheel drive model has 220 horsepower and a 319-mile EPA-estimated range. It accelerates smoothly and confidently, although without the rush of instant torque that’s so typical of EVs. Opt for the all-wheel drive model and you’ll get 300 horsepower for a more responsive, quicker experience. Both models are surprisingly efficient and deliver a solid amount of range per charge, although they aren’t class leaders in either category.

Chevrolet Equinox EV for 2025: What Makes It Stand Out

Front-seat headroom and legroom are competitive with rival EVs, and rear seat space is roomy enough to allow three people abreast. The flat load floor also creates a respectable 26.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the back seats. Fold them (almost) flat and you’ll get 57.2 cubic feet of capacity.

Adaptive cruise control is standard and does a great job of maintaining speed on the highway, anticipating when it’s time to brake. You can also opt for a top-level model with Super Cruise hands-off driving, which we recommend if you’re planning to do long road trips or commutes.
